General WoW Information
Guild list Update
The main focus of the guild is currently in Blizzard's
World of Warcraft
Though SoulBound never has an "official" game that it supports, the majority of its members are playing
this and will most likely continue to for the foreseeable future.
SoulBound can be found on the
Icecrown server, a normal server in the Mountain timezone.
If you are a member of the guild and would like to be added to the SoulBound roster in-game, you must contact one of the g officers in game, a list of officers and guilded members can be found here:
Soul-bound on WOW You can also contact anyone else logged in to find out if there is an officer currently available.Along with the guild chat, many members choose to use TeamSpeak to facilitate communication in groups. Please check out the TeamSpeak thread in the WoW or Tech Support forums for information on connecting to our server. TeamSpeak is highly suggested for all members. Are you a new member interested in joining SoulBound? Type /who SoulBound in-game to get a list of all members currently logged in to speak with someone there or post in the Boot Camp forum in our message board. A link to the Message Board can be found on the menu to the left.Trade SkillsOne of the many strengths of SoulBound is how the members support each other without rules stating that they must. Below is a list of all current players with Trade Skills who would either appreciate a donation of their needed material or are willing to create goods for other members at a reasonable rate. Most members enjoy crafting the items for free or very cheaply to SoulBound members if you are able to provide the raw materials. Contact the person in-game to arrange for this or simply mail them the needed ingredients. Please remember that there are no strings attached to any donations you give--many people may return it with a crafted item, but they are not bound to do so.All crafters would also greatly appreciate any patterns or recipes found while hunting.EnchantersEnchanters need magic items colored green or higher to disenchant into dust, essence, shards, and other materials. They then use these materials to apply enchantments to existing weapons and armor. This is a very expensive trade skill to raise, so these members will greatly appreciate any unneeded magic items. Enchanters can also disenchant magic items crafted by other players such as tailors and blacksmiths. An enchanter is usually more than happy to apply a free enchantment if you provide all the items needed.Any class can use the enchantments provided by enchanters.Vicili - Apprentice Enchanter Stray - Expert EnchanterBlacksmithsBlacksmiths create weapons and armor for other players. They are typically supported by miners, but they often require materials from skinners, leatherworkers, and fishermen for particular recipes. Blacksmiths greatly appreciate any gems that you have available for the magic equipment they can make.Paladins and Warriors benefit the most from the armor made by Blacksmiths.Greggor - Journeyman Blacksmith Stysia - Journeyman Blacksmith (Concentrating in Weapons) TehSpiff - Expert BlacksmithLeatherworkersLeatherworkers use leather from skinners to create leather armor, bags, materials for other trades, and leather patches. Leather patches are magic enhancements that can be added to armor much like an enchantment. Note that only one player-made enhancement (either enchantment or patch) can be active on a particular piece of armor at a time. Leatherworkers can also convert lower level pieces of leather into higher grade leather. Leatherworkers usually only need items that are gathered by skinners, though they sometimes require potions for certain leather patches.Druids, Hunters, Paladins, Rogues, and Warriors benefit the most from the armor made by Leatherworkers.Mastahh - Journeyman LeatherworkerTailorsTailors create cloth armor and bags and can cheaply create magic items for enchanters. Since there is no gathering skill for tailors, they must find their cloth by killing humanoids. Humanoids level 7-15 typically drop linen, Humanoids level 15-25 usually drop wool, and higher level Humanoids will drop mageweave and runecloth. Tailors also require spider silk, which comes from spiders and other mobs. Some recipes will also call for leather and other rare materials. If you ever need a bag upgrade, tailors are the first people to ask.Mages, Priests, and Warlocks benefit the most from the armor made by tailors, though any class can wear it.Firgorfin - Apprentice Tailor Vicili - Journeyman Tailor Kenickie - Expert Tailor Stray - Master TailorAlchemistsAlchemists create health potions, mana potions, and a buff for pretty much any occassion by combining herbs collected by Herbalists. These potions can be real life savers when used properly. Most alchemists would be happy to provide a steady stream of health/mana potions if you provide a steady stream of cash or herbs.Any class benefits from the proper potion.Blacksoul - Apprentice Alchemist Mogrogg - Journeyman Alchemist Vextorman - Expert AlchemistEngineersEngineers create crazy contraptions that do anything from provide a fun pet to resurrecting other players. Unfortunately, most items engineers create can only be used by other engineers. Engineers require many different items to create their items including mined ore and leather. Engineers can also create guns for Hunters, Warriors, and whoever else can use them.
Hunters and Warriors benefit from the guns Engineers create while other Engineers can benefit from the other items.Grumlin - Journeyman EngineerSkinnersSkinners gather leather and hide from the corpses of animals they find out in the wild. Their gathered items are used by nearly every profession, but Leatherworkers require the most.Firgorfin - Apprentice Skinner Kenickie - Journeyman Skinner Mastahh - Journeyman SkinnerMinersMiners gather ore and gems from ore veins found in caves and along mountainsides. The ore is primarily used by Blacksmiths and Engineers.Greggor - Journeyman Miner Stysia - Journeyman Miner TehSpiff - Expert MinerHerbalistsHerbalists collect herbs from plants found out in the wild or in caves. These herbs are almost exclusively used by Alchemists for their potions.Blacksoul - Apprentice Herbalist Mogrogg - Journeyman Herbalist Vextorman - Expert HerbalistFishingFishers mostly collect fish to be used for cooking, but they can also collect magic items and rare ingredients for other crafters such as pearls.
